My ability to make things happen
In this post:
- Why visualizing the best case scenario paid off for me
- My ability to make things happen
- My ability to be the best
In streetfighteronline.com , an online multiplayer fighting game..
- I joined and kept losing and was ready to give up.. Till I realized that there are only a few different moves in the game.. And I used to go to sleep and brainstorm new combinations..and write the strategies down.. and now I am surely one of the best.. Perhaps undefeatable at times if the game doesn’t “lag” or if others don’t HACK. Yes the game is hack able last time I checked
- In first semester of college degree.. I got 3 A’s and 2B’s.. I realized by analyzing the 2 B courses that I could do better.. Basically for one course I was putting minimal effort(some Windows class).. And I was just slacking..not reading the stuff at home..and just hoping it would sink in at home
- I also noticed in English class(my other B) that I wasn’t really giving it my best…
- 2 straight semesters later.. 2 consecutive 4.0 GPAs( All A’s )
- HE SHOOTS HE SCORES!!
- In soccer my team was losing games like 10-0 ..and I was the one person to score.. Before the 2 back to back games I scored in.. I had caffeine.. Did a few exercises with the soccer ball, and visualized my success. I will also mention that I am not the strongest soccer player, a very skinny guy, perhaps an aggressive player and a fast runner.. And being a “cherry picker” .. Well it just helps out sometimes
.. Well my team still lost.. But ya that’s a life lesson that visualization of your success and caffeine work miracles.
Don’t get it? I didn’t score in about 20 games.. i.e. The entire season.. And wham! I told myself I can do it.. And saw myself doing it.. And wham.. Shot blocked.. goalie down.. Rebound SCORES!!!
.. I must say I love soccer a lot!
