Get Rid of Valentines Day — because Single people suffer!

I don’t know if I speak on the behalf of all single people, but it sure hurts being single and miserable.

First I will go off on a  tangent… about why its so hard to find someone when I am single, how I wonder if I am good enough for a girl , wondering if there is something wrong with my looks, with my personality, my body ,  wondering why no girl will give me a chance… 

Well first of all, there is a high chance that when single you don’t just wait around for someone to say ‘hi you’re hot lets date’ …  or anything close. You gotta take action..

Yes, thats right! Not single and happy , single and miserable.

Increase of opportunity fails

• I am single, I go to campus even on my days off, to increase my chances of finding someone …
• I have the guts to talk to a ’stranger’ girl

My approach

• If the girl is alone, not busy(probably I should talk to a girl either way and hope she will be interested)
• I talk to her .. ask her what program she is in etc.

Problem:

• Girl standing, she could easily walk away
• I have been sitting in a more antisocial space so even if a girl wanted to talk to me she would sem awkward (though 99.9% chance that she WON’T talk to me..)

then again , from where I’m sitting , there are 99.9% of the time 0 girls beside me, so probably beside to sit at a better spot hehe .. anyways

Valentine’s Day

Last year and this year left me feeling a bit down..

• Thought maybe some ‘magic’ or girls feeling more romantic could work out well for me
• I saw a girl and an opportunity, but didn’t realize it was an opportunity, because I was leaving and she was sitting down..  talking to her could have been arguably stalker like  since I didn’t happen to be beside her .. so I decided not to talk ..

Kill valentine’s day (get rid of it so future people will eventually have never heard of it)

Pros

• single people don’t feel hurt when they don’t hook up with someone
• single people don’t have to be reminded that they are single

Cons

• less romance
• less uniqueness in a relationship..doing the same things over and over kills relationships

The Anti-Single Invention..

www.thinkgeek.com had some t-shirt that gave me an idea..  A Dating service in your Clothes!

It would work by a status indicator of 10 hearts in red, that lights up and maybe even beeps… how it works is when 2 people have the love matcher merchandise

which could be bracelets,necklaces, watches, t-shirts, pants

the merchandise would light up.. and the 2 people would realize both are SINGLE AND INTERESTED in finding someone.. and if they liked each other WHAM!
